Woven Dreams: A Creative Prompt Blog

Welcome to Woven Dreams: A Creative Prompt Blog

I’m testing the waters at this point to see if there would be enough interest to start a new prompt blog.

My vision for Woven Dreams is a weekly prompt offering for all types of creative expressions:

poetry, prose, photography, drawings, quotes…

any way a particular prompt takes you, it’s all good.

With Sunday being the day that the majority of people have a bit more time, a new prompt would be up then and for the remainder of that week.

I’m really excited about the possibility of Woven Dreams Prompts becoming an active and inspiring online place to share and commune with other creative people.

If you think this sounds like a good fit for your creative muse, leave a prompt suggestion or two as a comment below.

I’ll keep you posted on how things progress. :)

Here’s to Woven Dreams!

Hi Lisa, I love prompts with a nature theme too. Definitely doable.

Hi Teri, I love prompts too, they do provide a challenge, don’t they? I hope you’ll come back to participate soon.

Hi Robyn, Thanks for your support.

I do need some prompts to get things rolling, so do leave one or two with comments, if at all possible, thank you.

    Have a Wonderful Weekend, G :)

    • Here are a few prompts that might strike a cord for you to run with. Any could work with nature.

      The color blue,
      Humming
      Tiny
      Weeds
      Seven
      Tree
      Fish
      Brood
      Hunch
      Remember

  6. ah pretty cool geraldine…will be on the lookout for your first…

  7. I can hear the champagne bottle breaking against its bow. Bon Chance!

  8. This will be a great place for people to share their creative ideas. The header looks great, and love the blog name too.

  9. I am having an awful time trying to leave a message, but I will try again. This is a great idea. Here are some possible prompts: moving water, touch, rememberance, tolerance, “it all falls apart,” “it all comes together,” patterns, “where are we going,” quiet heroes, change, transformation, green, stars, opportunity, coincidence, serendipity, recognition…guess that’s more than a few…

  10. I like the name of the blog- Woven dreams!

My suggestion for the prompt is ‘Dreams”.

It sounds like lots of fun and challenge!

  11. Neat idea, Geraldine. And some cool prompt ideas. Woven dreams – very cool name. I’ll look forward to it. :)

  12. A great idea.. would participate for sure.. Geraldine..

Let me give the prompt as ‘Weave’…

    RS:)

  13. Hi Teri, That’s a great list of prompts, thanks for coming back to share these.

Hi Ron, Oh where are those wine glasses when you need them the most. ;)

Hi Joe, I’m so happy with all the interest already! And some wonderful prompt suggestions too.

Hi Sue, That’s too bad about the signing in. WP and Blogger don’t always get along. :( Thanks for some wonderful prompt suggestions.

Hi Harshad, I considered a lot of names before coming up with Woven Dreams Prompts, glad you like it.

Hi Talon, Thanks for stopping by Talon. I’m so glad you like the name I chose too.

Hi Ramesh, Thanks so much and yes, I like that prompt idea a lot!

    Happy Weekend, G

  14. This seems fun … waiting for it :-)

  15. Sounds good to me. The only suggestion I would make is regular prompt users have a massive variety of prompts to use on Sunday, yet Saturday has very few. Maybe if it was posted on a Saturday, you’d get extra people, the Sunday prompters coming along on that day as usual.

  16. Sounds good! I’m looking forward to it.
One week for each prompt seems like a good idea. :-)
I love the title Woven Dreams…

  17. Thank you for letting me know about this and I would definitely be interested in participating.

  18. Hi Green Speck, I’m excited to get started too. :)

Hi Tony, Thanks for your suggestion but I’ve left it at Sunday as the prompts will be up for the whole week, not just a day or two. I also like the idea of starting a new week with a new prompt.

I’ve also noted that a couple of the Sunday prompt sites I was visiting for a long time have been dwindling quite a bit lately so hopefully Woven Dreams can revitalize those participants interest who had not been coming as frequently to these other blogs/sites.

I look forward to your participation! You’re always a big part of the Sunday prompt scene.

Hi Teri,Ditto what I said above and woohoo… you’re the first prompt here on Sunday! :)

Hi Vesper, It would be great if you’d join in on a regular basis! Thanks re: the name, I kind of like it myself. ;)

Hi Rae, Wonderful. Hope to see you tomorrow to ‘kick’ things off!

Thanks for your comments and suggestions, all appreciated, G

  19. I’ll be sticking close Geraldine… here, w well recieved concept. _m
